  3. Hi my daughter is sitting sea ,she is very nervous at exam time an freezes ,she tends to forget everything ,her mind goes blank ,how do I help her over come this fear ? Also I am lookin for a one an one tutor to go over d new syllabus to prepare her for exams any suggestions? Thks

    1. Hi Suzanna, you need to reassure your daughter that although SEA is important, it is not the end of the world. Most of the times children’s fear for exams is due to the high expectations their parents, friends and other family members have for them.

      Many parents, including tutors who are parents have opted to not let their children write SEA this year. They removed their children from school, started homeschooling them and will let them write SEA next year instead as private candidates. This is possible as long as the child is not 15 years old before the exam date that he/she will be writing.
      I will not advise joining my regular Saturday SEA classes since she may not be able to catch up. There is an option for an individual class on a week day or a Saturday evening. My classes are located in Debe. Feel free to email me what area you are from so I can suggest another tutor for you if you are not from my area.
